We cure and smoke our Steelhead just like our salmon and we think it’s a very special product, one we are particularly proud and passionate about. If you like salmon, you’ll love Steelhead Trout.  No one knows exactly why some Rainbow Trout migrate to the sea to become Steelheads, and others remain in fresh water.  At sea they grow much bigger, leaner and more athletic, akin to salmon.  Sea-reared trout develop a unique flavour, sweeter and more delicate than salmon.  Our Steelhead trout is reared on a family owned farm off the west coast of Scotland in the nutrient rich waters of the Inner Hebrides.

Cut: This product is available as D-Sliced. D-Sliced is a well-known cut, where slices are thinly sliced diagonally and layered.

Portion Guide: We recommend 60-75g per person, as a starter.



It takes 24 hours to process orders. Orders received after 10am will be processed and sent the following day. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Preferred Delivery Date can be chosen at checkout. ORDERS MAY ARRIVE -/+ 2 DAYS OF PREFERRED DELIVERY DATE. 

Delivery rates for mainland UK orders: EH, FK1-FK17 – £5.50, Rest of mainland UK – £8.95, Orders over £75 are Free UK Delivery. Please note we do not deliver to Guernsey, Jersey or Isle of Man.
